Neway CMM inspection reports and FAIR documentation are project-specific deliverables that remain unconfirmed until Neway accepts the defined scope in writing for the current order. Confirm availability, format, measurement access, required records, review authority, price, and timing in the quotation. Ask for a redacted representative report where confidentiality permits and verify that the proposed equipment, personnel, software, and quality process can support the drawing. Keep the deliverable unconfirmed until the purchase order identifies exactly what “full” means and Neway accepts that scope in writing.
Dimensional Measurements: identify each ballooned characteristic to be measured, including size, position, profile, datum-related geometry, hole patterns, slots, and other critical-to-function features.
Geometric Tolerances (GD&T): state the governing ASME or ISO drawing system, datum alignment, modifiers, evaluation method, and acceptance rule for every applicable control.
Measurement Tools Used: request the method, equipment and program reference, probe or sensor, fixture and alignment, environmental condition, and relevant calibration evidence.

CMM can suit position, profile, and datum-related geometry, while a bore gauge, micrometer, functional gauge, surface-texture instrument, or another method may better fit other characteristics. Require the supplier to address measurement uncertainty, access, fixturing, surface condition, temperature, repeatability, and data processing. Instrument resolution and catalog accuracy do not guarantee the finished-part tolerance or the validity of a report.
FAIR scope must be quoted against the customer requirement. If AS9102 is invoked, state the edition, forms, accountability, signatures, characteristic numbering, and any customer supplements. Late requests can require re-planning or remeasurement and may be impossible if the delivered state prevents access.
